Seminole State College of Florida President Dr. E. Ann McGee, a Trustee for the Phi Theta Kappa Foundation, was presented with the Chief Executive Leadership Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District III, which represents nine southeastern states. The award was presented during the CASE District III Conference on February 16 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Jackson, Mississippi – Dr. George Boggs, President and CEO Emeritus of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), and Middle States Regional Coordinator Pattie Van Atter were elected as Chair and Vice Chair, respectively, of Phi Theta Kappa’s Board of Directors during the Board’s most recent meeting held in Jackson, Mississippi on January 23.

Phi Theta Kappa/AACC Award $50,000 in Frank Lanza Healthcare Scholarships

Jackson, MS – Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), with the generous support of CAE Healthcare and L-3 Communications, Inc., have awarded $50,000 in scholarships to the 2015 Frank Lanza Scholars. Twenty community college students were selected to receive up to $2,500 each for completion of associate degrees.
