Corporate and Foundation Giving

We will be performing routine maintenance Thursday, February 23rd from 5 pm - 8 pm CT. You may experience interruptions in service at that time. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Each year, corporations and foundations support Phi Theta Kappa through a number of ways including outright gifts, grants, sponsorships and matching gifts. From scholarships to supporting special events, Phi Theta Kappa has benefited from the generous support of local, state and national corporations and foundations.

Corporate Sponsorships

The Corporate Partners Program is designed to assist your organization's marketing efforts through select access to and visibility with Phi Theta Kappa members. Knowing your business needs is essential to our mutual success. We will provide you with opportunities to interact with target populations at various events.

Contributions support and sustain the Society's academic excellence. Support includes:

  • funding scholarships and giving students opportunities to further their education
  • supplying faculty scholars with the means to enhance leadership development skills
  • inviting distinguished scholars and speakers to the Annual Convention, Faculty Scholar Conference and Honors Institute
  • covering a portion of basic operating expenses

Your support is vital to our mission of educating tomorrow's leaders. Our Corporate Partners Program invites your organization to further focus your marketing efforts with Phi Theta Kappa.

Each year, the following programs are available for sponsorship:

Additional sponsorship opportunities are available. To create a sponsorship package that meets your interests, please contact Courtney Taylor at 601-946-3577.

Matching Gifts

Matching gifts from corporations and foundations play an important role in the success of our fundraising initiatives. Individual donors must supply Phi Theta Kappa with a matching gift form once their personal gift has been made. Matching gift forms may be obtained from your employer.

Establish a Scholarship

Phi Theta Kappa has administered scholarship programs for 20 years, performing functions such as developing a program's conceptual framework, developing award selection criteria, designing applications, designing and coordinating the recipient selection process, disbursing award funds, filing tax forms and tracking recipients' performance. Phi Theta Kappa administers the All-USA Academic Team for Community Colleges, New Century Scholarship Program, the Leaders of Promise Scholarship and the Guistwhite Scholarship Program. Phi Theta Kappa's Executive Director and Scholarship Department staff have years of experience in selecting scholarship recipients having served on national judging panels for the Truman Scholar Program, Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship, Coca-Cola Scholars Program, All-USA High School Academic Team and the National Association of Community College Teacher Preparation Programs.

If your corporation wishes to establish a scholarship, our staff is ready to assist you in creating a scholarship program that fits your criteria. Giving can be on an annual basis, but the establishment of an endowment creates a giving vehicle that is invested in Phi Theta Kappa and will remain intact year after year. The endowed scholarship is distributed from income earned. Please contact Courtney Taylor at 601.984.3577 to establish an endowed scholarship or to talk about any other opportunities to create a scholarship.
