Texas Advisor Voted ACA Secretary

Larry Polk, advisor at Richland College in Texas, was elected 2008-2009 Secretary of the Association of Chapter Advisors, or ACA, at the recent International Convention in Philadelphia. Polk has served as an advisor since 1973. He is a former Advisor Representative to the Phi Theta Kappa Board of Directors. Polk will serve one term as ACA Secretary, and then advance to Vice Chairman and eventually, Chairman. All Phi Theta Kappa advisors belong to the ACA, a non-dues paying association that meets annually at the International Convention.
