Read Winning Case Study Challenge Entries Online

Winners of the 2008 Honors Case Study Challenge, sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa and USA TODAY, may be read online. Winners, announced at the recent International Convention in Philadelphia, and their topics, include the Beta Theta Omicron Chapter at Skyline College in California, for "The Global Struggle for Water"; the Sigma Phi Chapter at Arapahoe Community College in Colorado, for "The U.S. and China: Growing Issues of Interdependence"; Ashley Odell, Manchester Community College, Connecticut, for "The Evolving Role of Women in Higher Education"; and Ryan Knobf, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, "The Distorted Line Between Patriotism and Faith." The winning entries are also available on the USA TODAY Collegiate website. All winners also received $500 scholarships. Plan now to enter the 2009 Honors Case Study Challenge, by researching a topic related to The Paradox of Affluence: Choices, Challenges, and Consequences, Phi Theta Kappa's 2008-2010 Honors Study Topic.
