Former International Officer Elected to SGA Post
Erin Wilson, Phi Theta Kappa's 2006-2007 International Vice President-Division IV, has been elected Student Government President at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. Wilson, a rising junior, becomes the first transfer student and first non-traditional student to seek or to be elected to the student government presidency. A Mount Holyoke Frances Perkins Scholar, Wilson has also been elected President of the Frances Perkins Student Association. She will spend the summer traveling abroad to major European cities, as winner of Mount Holyoke's 2008 Karen Snyder Sullivan Memorial Travel Award. Wilson is an American Studies major concentrating on Popular Culture and a Film Studies minor. She plans to continue her studies at graduate school.
