California Chancellor Tapped for Top Education Post

Martha J. Kanter, Chancellor of the Foothill-De Anza Community College District in California, will be President Obama's nominee for Under Secretary of Education, the White House announced this week. Dr. Kanter has served as Chancellor of the district since 2003 and was previously president of DeAnza College. Read the White House press release online.
