Butte College Receives Top "Make A Difference Day" Honors

Butte College's "Extreme Community Makeovers: Butte-Glenn Edition" has been chosen by USA Weekend Magazine as one of the Top 10 Make A Difference Day projects in the nation for 2008. The California college's Phi Theta Kappa chapter was one of the chief organizers of the event, and chapter advisors Dr. Roger Ekins and Dr. Jo Anna Birdsall served as co-chairs. The college and chapter's accomplishment was also announced at the recent Phi Theta Kappa Convention by Executive Director Rod Risley in his State of Phi Theta Kappa address.
