Join Keep America Beautiful's Great American Cleanup

Phi Theta Kappa members from Kapi'olani Community College in Hawaii are among millions of volunteers participating in the annual Great American Cleanup, now underway through May 31. The Great American Cleanup is a program of Keep America Beautiful, Phi Theta Kappa's partner in the International Service Program, Operation Green: Improving Our Communities. The Kapi'olani chapter has participated in community environmental cleanup projects for many years, said advisor Charlotte Toguchi. Toguchi and others from the chapter will be among chapters conducting an Educational Forum on the Great American Cleanup at the International Convention, and Keep America Beautiful will sponsor a booth in the Academic Marketplace. Chapters interested in taking part in the Great American Cleanup may volunteer with a local Keep America Beautiful affiliate or participating organization or register their own GAC event.
