ACA Secretary, Board Candidates' Information Posted
Information about the four candidates for 2009-2010 Secretary of the Association
of Chapter Advisors, or ACA, and the two candidates seeking election as
Advisor Representative to the Board of Directors, is now available on the
International Convention
and ACA
websites. ACA candidates are Linda Gronberg-Quinn, Community College
of Baltimore County, Maryland, Division I; Billy Wilson, Holmes Community
College, Goodman Campus, Mississippi, Division II; Steve Fritts, Ozark
Technical and Community College, Missouri, Division III; and Eric Chong,
Guam Community College, Guam, Division IV. Candidates for the Board of
Directors are Dan Bailey, Ashland Technical and Community College, Kentucky;
and Karen Roush, Independence Community College, Kansas. Information
is based on questionnaires submitted to all candidates. Advisors attending
the 2009 Convention in Grapevine, Texas, will elect the ACA Secretary,
who will advance to the positions of Vice Chairman and Chairman over the
next three years; and the new Advisor Representative to the Board of Directors.
