Phi Theta Kappa Staff Member Named Outstanding Alumnus

Tom Rowden, Multimedia Producer for Phi Theta Kappa's Marketing and Communications Department, was chosen to receive a 2009 Outstanding Alumni Award by Des Moines Area Community College in Iowa. The award honors and recognizes alumni who provide service to their community, country, and/or fellow citizens; have had great professional or personal achievement since graduation; and continue to be involved in the life and work of Des Moines Area Community College. Rowden was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa's Beta Epsilon Eta Chapter on the Des Moines Area Community College's Ankeny Campus in 2002 and served as a chapter officer and chapter president. Rowden also served as an Iowa Regional Officer. He joined the Headquarters staff in 2006.
