Alumni Association Chartering Information
Community/Senior Institution/Regional Alumni Associations
The establishment of community-based, senior institution-based, and regional-based alumni associations is encouraged. An association should be the focal point for directing the loyalty of the alumnus into helpful and constructive channels to strengthen the mission of the Society.
To be officially recognized as a Phi Theta Kappa Alumni Association by the International Headquarters, an association must satisfy all chartering obligations set forth in the Alumni Association Organizational Packet and comply with requirements as outlined by the Board of Directors.
Any unauthorized use of the name of Phi Theta Kappa by alumni is prohibited.
Chartering materials may be obtained from the Phi Theta Kappa Development Department, 1625 Eastover Drive, Jackson, Mississippi 39211. For more information please e-mail our Alumni Office or call us at 601.984.3577.
Active Alumni Association Status
To be considered active, all alumni associations must annually submit to the Development Department an Alumni Association Annual Report. Reporting forms will be provided by the Development Department in January of each year, to be used for reporting the previous calendar year. Alumni associations that do not submit an Alumni Annual Report will be designated as inactive and are prohibited from using Phi Theta Kappa's name, logos, etc.
