Accept the 2006 Honors Case Study Challenge

As part of ongoing efforts to promote scholarship and civic engagement, Phi Theta Kappa and USA TODAY will again sponsor an Honors Case Study Challenge. Now in its fourth year, the Case Study Challenge offers members and chapters a unique opportunity to implement the Honors Study Topic, learn more about current events and receive national recognition and cash stipends through USA TODAY. Members and chapters wishing to take the Case Study Challenge should read the print edition of USA TODAY to find articles related to the Honors Study Topic, Popular Culture: Shaping and Reflecting Who We Are. Articles appearing between July 1, 2005, and March 1, 2006, may be used. Participants will then conduct a Case Study on the articles they have gathered. The submission deadline is March 17, 2006. Four winning Case Studies will be selected for cash awards of $500 each. Read the 2005 winning Case Studies online. Winners will be recognized at the 2006 International Convention in Seattle, Washington, April 20-22. Contact Honors Programs Coordinator Tria Cohen at 601.984.3515.
