Headquarters Staff Members Receive Service Awards
Fourteen Center for Excellence staff members were recently awarded pins
commemorating their years of service to Phi Theta Kappa.
"The
Phi Theta Kappa Headquarters staff is an exceptional group of individuals
committed to assisting our constituencies and making sure their needs
are met," said Executive Director Rod Risley. "Throughout their years
of service they have provided endless amounts of attention and detail to
academic achievement, career development and personal growth essential
to our members and educators."
"Today we are honoring these
individuals with service pins representing their 20th, 15th, 10th, fifth,
and third years with Phi Theta Kappa," said Risley.
Honored
for 20 years of service to Phi Theta Kappa was Nell Ewing, Director of Publications.
Phylliss
Duvall, Communications Coordinator, was recognized for 15 years of service
with Phi Theta Kappa.
Tammy Harvey, Leadership Development
Programs Coordinator, received a service pin for 10 years with Phi Theta
Kappa.
Celebrating five years with Phi Theta Kappa were Renee
Culpepper, Graphic Design Coordinator; Larry Horn, Director of Information
Systems; Holly Peel, Financial Services Assistant; and Michelle Slay,
Leadership Development Programs Assistant.
Receiving service
pins for three years were Tracey Barnes, Financial Services Assistant;
Anita Bell, User Support and Training Specialist; Suzanne Brister, Scholarship
Programs Coordinator; Tria Cohen, Honors Programs Coordinator; Casey
Holcomb, Director of Recognition Services; Garon Tate, Chapter Programs
Coordinator; Dana Van Deman, Institutional Advancement Officer and Alumni
Program Coordinator.
