Headquarters Staff Saluted for Years of Service
Eight members of the staff of the Center for Excellence, Phi Theta Kappa's
International Headquarters in Jackson, Mississippi, were honored this
week for landmark years of service.
Each received a pin commemorating
their anniversary as a Headquarters staff member.
"Thank everyone
for all that you do - whether this is your first year, or your 30th year, or
somewhere in between," said Dr. Shirley Gordon, Chairman of the Phi Theta
Kappa Board of Directors. "This staff is the group that has made, and continues
to make, Phi Theta Kappa the success that it is. Thank you from the entire
Board."
Leading the list of honorees was Executive Director
Rod Risley, who is marking his 30th year as a Phi Theta Kappa staff member.
Celebrating 15 years of service were Senior Director of Operations
Saralyn Quinn and Director of Programs Jennifer Stanford.
Melissa
Mayer, Public Relations Officer, was recognized for 10 years of service.
Achieving five years of service were Lea Ann Bethany, Director
of Software Services, and Brandi McNeil, Director of Chapter Programs.
Marking
three years of service were Creative Director Brian Koranda and Software
Engineer John Steffens.
"Much recognition has come to Phi Theta
Kappa and its leaders in the past year," said Risley, addressing the entire
staff. "Understand that you, the staff, and what you do every day, are the
reasons for these recognitions. Thank you, Headquarters staff, for all
you do for this organization."
