Fast Food Vendors, Restaurant and Room Service Specials to be Available at Convention Hotel
Fast food options and daily "Phi Theta Kappa" $10 specials will be available
during the Society's International
Convention.
The Gaylord Texan, the official Convention
hotel, will bring in fast food vendors; and $10 specials will be offered
by Room Service and at some hotel restaurants.
Fast-food stations
will be located in the Academic Marketplace, and a list of vendors will be
announced prior to the Convention.
To purchase the economically
priced "specials" from restaurants and Room Service, Convention participants
must show their name badges.
The hotel's Room Service $10 Special
will be included with Lunch, Dinner and Late Night choices, beginning on
Wednesday evening, April 15. The $3 Room Service delivery fee is not included
in the $10 and will be added to the total.

The
Riverwalk will offer a $10 all-you-can-eat Salad Bar special Thursday
through Saturday. The Riverwalk will extend their lunch hours on Thursday
until 5 pm, and on Friday and Saturday until 3 pm and will open at 4:30 pm for
dinner on Friday.
Java Coast has extended cash express
for all meal periods Thursday-Saturday and will offer a $10 sandwich and
drink special.
Java Junior, an express Java Coast,
will offer a $10 lunch and dinner special and will have extra staff on Wednesday
evening.
The Cocoa Bean will have a lunch and dinner
$10 special.
Texan Station regularly provides several
items under $10.
International Convention dates are April
16-18. Register
by February 22 at the low Early Bird rate. Make your hotel
reservations now - the Gaylord Texan is filling up quickly.
