Phi Theta Kappa members who are having trouble deciding on the perfect career
now have an online tool to help guide them toward making the right decision.
The Society's Career Resource
Center is full of information members can use to check out career
tips and opportunities of special interest to community college students.
During
a visit to the Career Resource Center site members will find various news
articles on career planning as well as information on a highlighted profession.
These items will be updated weekly in order to keep members current on the
ever-changing job market.
The Career Exploration Headlines
are updated daily and will provide members with numerous news articles
on interviewing, networking, resumes and cover letters, career direction,
research, continuing education and the workplace.
With just
a couple of clicks of the mouse, members can use the Career Search
option to access hundreds of job opportunities available throughout the
country.
Members can also update their information and request
a letter of recommendation to send to a future employer. Additional career
resources and information are also available from MonsterTrak
and Women For Hire.
