Here's the Latest 2010 Convention News
The latest updates on Phi Theta Kappa's 2010
Convention are here! The Convention will be held April 8-10 in
Orlando, Florida.
The enhanced Convention
website now includes information about the new Convention Grand
Opening celebration, free time at Walt
Disney World Theme Parks and how to purchase tickets; an updated
schedule; and discounts
on flights to Orlando and car rentals.
Chapters may also apply
to sell merchandise in the Convention
Marketplace.
To help chapters determine the resources
they need to attend the 2010 Convention, Phi Theta Kappa announced 2010
Convention
registration and hotel reservation costs and opened online registration
almost a year in advance.
Advisors may register chapter members,
and individuals may register, anytime between now and February 8, 2010,
for the lowest Early Bird fee!
Names of chapter members attending
the Convention do not have to be provided at this time. If you know the number
of attendees from your chapter but not the names, submit your registration
using "dummy" names and when the actual names are known, advisors may update
their chapter registration in PAM. Use the Convention Manager tool in the
Chapter Development & Award Programs menu in PAM
to add names or correct your registration. The deadline for changes is March
16, 2010.
Registrations are now being accepted for the Honors
in Action Academy, open to anyone registered for the Convention. Questions

Make
reservations at the Convention
hotel, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort,
online. Staying at the Convention hotel helps defray Convention costs,
assists with maintaining lowest possible registration fees and also promotes
community and fellowship. Attendees who stay in the Convention hotel will
also be eligible to enjoy extended hours at the theme parks!
