Better World Books Makes It Easy for Your Chapter to Make a Difference

Better World Books works hard to make sure you do not have to when it comes to implementing a book drive on your campus. Your chapter not only makes a global impact on the fight against illiteracy, but can raise money in the process.

  • Better World Books provides collection bins, boxes, tape and pre-paid UPS shipping labels.
  • Arrange UPS pickups at Better World Books’ online shipping center at no expense to your chapter.

National Scholarships

Your Chapter will be competing with all participating schools throughout the country for one of seven $1,000 scholarships awarded to schools collecting the most books. The criterion is as follows:

  • Schools with less than 2,500 students
  • Schools with 2,500 to 5,000 students
  • Schools with 5,000 to 10,000 students
  • Schools with 10,000 to 15,000 students
  • Schools with 15,000 to 20,000 students
  • Schools with more than 20,000 students
  • One per capita scholarship

Fundraisers

Your chapter will get $.50 for every eligible book, (PDF) that is collected. With no limit to the number of books that may be collected, that translates into a dynamic fundraiser for your chapter. How much will your chapter earn?
