Phi Theta Kappa’s Constitution and Bylaws requires chapters to induct students at least once per year, but most chapters usually induct new members more frequently. It is common for a chapter to host new member induction ceremonies each semester or quarter. Some chapters also host inductions during summer terms. Usually, chapters have one or two formal induction ceremonies per year, while additional ceremonies are usually more informal. The checklist that follows will help you prepare for your chapter’s next induction ceremony.
