The Kentucky Region has 20 chapters and the Kentucky Region Alumni Association in the state of Kentucky. Margo Hamm, Regional Coordinator was the recipient of a Distinguished Regional Coordinator Award in 2006, and the Region was a recipient of a Regional Milestone Award in 2006.

All-USA Academic Teams for Community Colleges recognize scholarly achievements and leadership accomplishments of students enrolled in community, technical and junior colleges.

New Century ScholarsThe Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation, the American Association of Community Colleges and Phi Theta Kappa are pleased to announce New Century Scholars, an additional scholarship and national recognition opportunity available only to students nominated to the All-USA Academic Team. The highest scoring All-USA applicant from each of the 50 states will be named a New Century Scholar. Each New Century Scholar will receive a $2,000 scholarship.

Guistwhite Scholar ProgramGuistwhite Scholar Program, a merit-based program, enhances Phi Theta Kappa members' attainment of baccalaureate degrees and serves to recognize the scholarly achievements of Phi Theta Kappa members.

Leaders of PromiseLeaders of Promise provides new Phi Theta Kappa members with financial resources to help defray educational expenses while enrolled in a two-year college in order to develop leadership potential through participation in Society programs.

All State Academic Teams are co-sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa, two-year college presidents, and community college state associations. Students nominated to the All-USA Academic Team are automatically named to the All-State Academic Team. Ranking on the All-State team is determined by the student score in the national competition.

The Pinnacle AwardThe Pinnacle Award is a membership enhancement program that rewards both chapters and regions with scholarship stipends, in recognition of their success in recruitment of new members.

Programs

Project Grad uation - Feed a Body. Feed a Mind. Project Graduation encourages graduating students and their invited guests to bring children's books and non-perishable food items to their commencement ceremonies.

The Community College Readership Program The Community College Readership Program will provide newspapers to colleges and their students. By participating in the Readership Program, Phi Theta Kappa chapters can provide a healthy supplement to the education of community college students.

Keep America Beautiful Keep America Beautiful is collaborating with Phi Theta Kappa for the International Service Program, Operation Green: Improving Our Communities. The program focuses on Awareness, Recycling, Beautification and Clean Communities.

Chi Eta Chapter is participating in the International Service Program.


Gold, Gods, and Glory: The Global Dynamics of Power The Honors Study Topic, Gold, Gods, and Glory: The Global Dynamics of Power, brings important, current issues to the fore and encourages Phi Theta Kappa members to examine how these issues affect their lives. Participation reported is based on a chapter's subscription to the Honors Satellite Seminar Series or attendance at the International Honors Institute.

Chi Eta Chapter participated in Satellite Seminars previously.


Phi Theta Kappa Leadership Development Programs seeks to build and equip the next generation of our nation's leaders at the grassroots level.
