The Middle States Region has 76 chapters in the states of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The Middle States Region was the recipient of a Distinguished Region Award at the 2001 International Convention in Denver, Colorado.

Hallmark Awards honor individual, chapter and region accomplishments in the disciplines of the Society's four Hallmarks: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Fellowship. Alpha Epsilon Phi Chapter participated in 2008.

The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation, the
American Association of Community Colleges and Phi Theta Kappa are pleased to
announce New Century
Scholars, an additional scholarship and national recognition
opportunity available only to students nominated to the All-USA Academic Team.
The highest scoring All-USA applicant from each of the 50 states will be named
a New Century Scholar. Each New Century Scholar will receive a $2,000
scholarship. |
Guistwhite Scholar Program, a
merit-based program, enhances Phi Theta Kappa members' attainment of
baccalaureate degrees and serves to recognize the scholarly achievements of Phi
Theta Kappa members. |
Leaders of Promise provides new
Phi Theta Kappa members with financial resources to help defray educational
expenses while enrolled in a two-year college in order to develop leadership
potential through participation in Society programs. |
| All State Academic Teams are co-sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa, two-year college presidents, and community college state associations. Students nominated to the All-USA Academic Team are automatically named to the All-State Academic Team. Ranking on the All-State team is determined by the student score in the national competition. |

The Pinnacle Award is a membership enhancement program that rewards both
chapters and regions with scholarship stipends, in recognition of their success
in recruitment of new members. |

Graduation encourages graduating students and their invited guests
to bring children's books and non-perishable food items to their commencement
ceremonies. |
Alpha Epsilon Phi Chapter participated in 2007 and collected 1257 cans and 62 books.
The Community College Readership
Program will provide newspapers to colleges and their students. By
participating in the Readership Program, Phi Theta Kappa chapters can provide a
healthy supplement to the education of community college students. |
Alpha Epsilon Phi Chapter participated in the Community College Readership Program in 2006.
Keep America Beautiful is collaborating with Phi Theta Kappa for the
International Service Program, Operation Green: Improving Our Communities. The
program focuses on Awareness, Recycling, Beautification and Clean Communities. |

Honors Satellite Seminar Series or attendance at the International
Honors Institute. |
