Kerry Cutler
Division I International Vice President
Kerry Cutler is Phi Theta Kappa's 2008-2009 International Vice President - Division I. Cutler is a member of the Alpha Epsilon Omicron Chapter at Trident Technical College in Charleston, South Carolina.
She was chosen by her fellow International Officer candidates to receive the Orlowski Award, given to the candidate who places the spirit of Phi Theta Kappa over personal ambition.
Cutler served as Vice President of Scholarship and President of her chapter, and earlier this year was named a Distinguished Chapter President by the Carolinas Region. At Phi Theta Kappa's 90th International Convention in Philadelphia, Cutler received the Distinguished Chapter President Award. She was also named to Who's Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges and is a member of the South Carolina All-State Academic Team for 2008.
Cutler was a delegate to the Harvard Model United Nations in Boston, Massachusetts, in February 2008 and served as moderator at the Trident Technical College Model United Nations, also in February. She was a guest speaker at both the Carolinas Region Honors Institute in July of 2007 and the Carolinas Region Leadership Conference in 2008. Cutler is also a 19-century living historian who often speaks on the role in women in history.
After she completes both her associate degree in Commercial Graphics/Animation and her certificate in Graphic Illustration, Cutler plans to attend East Carolina University to major in Studio Art.
Cutler's hobbies include camping, hiking, cooking, reading, writing poetry, quilting, sewing, needlework and computers.
