Fulbright Officials Want to Attract More Community College Faculty, Administrators
Officials of the Fulbright Scholar Program hope to see more applications from community college faculty and administrators. According to an interview in the Chronicle of Higher Education, a State Department official noted that both President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have included community colleges in discussions of educational collaborations with other countries. The State Department oversees the Fulbright Program, which annually sends students and faculty to study and teach abroad.
