  • View Caucus, Read About 2010-2011 International Officer Candidates

    Seventeen members will campaign for 2010-2011 International Officer positions at the Annual Convention in Orlando. Serving as an International Officer is the pinnacle of student leadership in Phi Theta Kappa, and the campaign experience has been hailed as an opportunity for personal growth. Chapter delegates attending the Orlando Convention will elect an International President and four International Vice Presidents.   • 2010 Honors Institute Registration Information Announced

    Phi Theta Kappa’s 2010 Honors Institute will be held June 14-18 at Chapman University in Orange, California. The registration fee for the 2010 Honors Institute will be $875, the same as the past three years.  Registration for the five-day Honors Institute includes housing and all meals on campus.   • Send Your Questions for Convention Keynoters Maddow and Gupta

    Chapter and regional officers, do you have a question you’d like to ask Convention Keynote Speakers Dr. Rachel Maddow and Dr. Sanjay Gupta? Here’s your chance! Email your questions to Golden Key and your question may be selected for our keynote speakers. Both Dr. Maddow and Dr. Gupta will participate in a Q&A session following their Convention addresses. Your questions should address some facet of the Honors Study Topic, The Democratization of Information: Power, Peril, and Promise. Convention attendance is NOT required to participate; however, if you will attend the Orlando Convention, please include your arrival date and time in your email.

  • Advisors: Updated Information Helps Senior Institution Recruiters Contact Your Members

    Advisors, encourage your members to take full advantage of CollegeFish.org to plan their transfer. Make your members aware of the need to keep their contact information up to date.  Senior institution recruiters use this information to inform prospective students about scholarships and other benefits at their institutions. Any changes to contact information in CollegeFish.org are also reflected automatically in PAM.

  • March 22 Is Postmark Deadline for Marketplace Applications

    Chapters wishing to sell Society-related merchandise at the 2010 Convention Marketplace are reminded that applications must be postmarked by March 22 to insure space and to take advantage of the $75 registration fee. Applications postmarked after March 22 will be accepted based on space availability and the registration fee will be $100. Visit the Convention website to download a Marketplace Application and for more information about Marketplace sales opportunities and the exciting events planned for the Marketplace.

  • 20 Members Receive 2010 Guistwhite Scholarships

    Twenty outstanding Phi Theta Kappa members have been named 2010 Guistwhite Scholars, and will receive stipends of $5,000 for baccalaureate studies. Visit the Phi Theta Kappa Press Room to learn the names of this year’s winners and other information about the Guistwhite Scholarships.
