Using the many sources available (books, articles, documentaries, etc.) study the rise and fall of the Enron Corporation and visit a business class to give a presentation about ethics and the abuse/misuse of corporate power.

Develop a proposal that highlights the ways in which your college could better use renewable energy sources for power.  Your proposal should outline initial costs in time and resources, anticipated savings, and environmental benefits.

Watch Schindler’s List with a sister chapter, and invite a historian specializing in Jewish history to facilitate a conversation after the viewing.  Discuss how the power of Judaism was affected by persecution and genocide.

Select a once-powerful civilization that has declined and outline the reasons for its decline.  Draw correlations between America and the civilization you selected.  Create a web blog in which you predict America’s future survival or downfall, and encourage others to make predictions as well.

Host a Brown Bag Lunch Series called “Leadership Lessons Learned the Hard Way.”  Discuss the leadership lessons that can be learned from the experiences of powerful leaders who have fallen from power or grace as a result of some fault of their own.

Create a timeline that can be displayed on campus depicting major shifts of power in history.  Does each shift have an identifiable “tipping point”?  If so, identify that point on your timeline.
