What Does a Subscription to the Honors Seminar Series Include?
When your college/university subscribes to the 2008 Honors Seminar Series, you will receive:
» Satellite Coordinates for Four Live Broadcasts and/or the Online Download:
If your college/university subscribes to receive the live broadcasts, the Site Coordinator will receive satellite coordinates approximately 1 week prior to the date of each broadcast. If your college/university subscribes to receive the online download of the broadcasts, your site coordinator will receive a password to access the download the week following the broadcast.» Site Coordinator's Planning Guide:
Your designated Site Coordinator will receive a complete "how-to" Planning Guide with all the information needed to organize a successful program.» Promotional Materials:
Promotional posters are mailed to all Site Coordinators along with the Site Coordinator's Planning Guide. You may also download promotional fliers in PDF format or create your own by using the downloadable images provided. Press release templates are also provided.» Honors Program Guides:
Each subscribing college/university will receive 10 complimentary copies of Phi Theta Kappa's 2008-2010 Honors Program Guide, The Phi Theta Kappa Experience: Honoring Scholars, Building Servant Leaders featuring the 2008-2010 Honors Study Topic, The Paradox of Affluence: Choices, Challenges, and Consequences.NOTE: Site Coordinator's Planning Guides, Promotional Materials and Honors Program Guides will be mailed to all subscribers around September 5, 2008.
» Videotaping Rights:
Subscribing colleges/universities may make and retain one recording of each seminar. The seminars may be rebroadcast only for educational, non-commercial use and only within the facilities of your institution.» Interactive Format:
Your students and other members of your campus audience will have the opportunity to call in and e-mail questions to the presenter during each seminar.
