Abel is a August 2007 graduate from Marygrove College in Detriot, MI with a Bachelor's of Art degree, with the commencement ceremony will be on May 10, 2008. Abel is a Kappa Gamma Pi National Honor Society member and was inducted into Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Sue moved to Utah in June of 2007 and is currently working as a Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk for The Salvation Army.

Jennifer transferred to East Tennessee State University where she will graduate with a BS in Elementary Education (K-6) in December of 2008. She will then transfer to UT in Knoxville to obtain her masters.

On January 27, 2007, Edilyn married Allan Parnala. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University in December of 2007. She passed the NCLEX and became a Registered Nurse on February 1, 2008. Edilyn works at Banner Gateway Medical Center as a new graduate ICU Nurse.

Tycia was honored as Youth Female Role in the 2008 Tallahassee Community College African American History Calendar. She was also honored in the 2008 Women's History Month Celebration at Tallahassee Community College. In 2007, she was inducted into the TCC Student Hall of Fame.

Lauren is a Junior at the University of Montevallo. She extends many thanks to Phi Theta Kappa... it is because of her membership and involvement as a regional officer that she is on a full scholarship.

After graduation in May of 2007, Johanna enrolled at the University of Kansas as a full-time student. She is engaged to be married in the summer of 2008.

Matthew graduated cum laude with an Associate of Arts from Columbus State Community College on December 7, 2007. He will be starting at the Ohio State University in March of 2008 to begin a Bachelors Degree in Business with a major in Accounting. He was nominated by Columbus State Community College to represent the college in the All-USA Academic Team for 2008.

Nayra graduated with Honors from Roosevelt University with a Bachelors degree in Political Science. Nayra started at the Chicago-Kent College of Law in the Fall of 2007.

Daniel is currently in his second year at Oakland University. He is the Treasurer of the Blue Water Alumni Association and a member of the Michigan Region Alumni Association.

In 2006 and 2007, MaryAnne graduated from College Misericordia in Dallas, PA with her undergraduate degrees in Social Work and Psychology. She also obtained a certificate in Child Welfare. She is currently attending Marywood University in PA and will graduate in May of 2009 with a MSW. In the past three years, MaryAnne has been involved in Special Olympics and a Hurricane Katrina Relief Trip to Mississippi.

In 2008, Barbara was the first place winner - Investigative Reporting from the Minnesota Newspaper Association - College Division (a state-wide competition, including 4 year colleges) for an environmental story. She also Deans List at New School University, NYC. In 2007, she was an ALL-USA Academic First Team, Guistwhite Scholar, New Century Scholar in Minnesota, and a Jack Kent Cooke Scholar.

Nora was inducted in the Spring of 1998. In 2000, she was recognized as a Visionary. In 2001, she received the Distinguished Chapter Officer Award and was inducted into the Who's Who in American Junior Colleges.
