Alumnus Named President of Manatee Community College

Phi Theta Kappa alumnus Dr. Lars Hafner has been named president of Manatee Community College in Bradenton, Florida. Dr. Hafner, a former Board of Directors Alumni Achievement Award recipient, will assume his new position July 1. He is currently provost of St. Petersburg College, where he was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa's Eta Nu Chapter in 1980. Hafner later was an advisor for Eta Nu, and served 12 years in the Florida legislature. Learn more on the Manatee Community College website.
