Outstanding Scholars to Address 2008 Honors Institute
Phi Theta Kappa members and advisors attending the 2008 International Honors Institute will hear presentations relating to the 2008-2010 Honors Study Topic, The Paradox of Affluence: Choices, Challenges and Consequences, from outstanding scholars, including Dr. Douglas Brinkley, author of The Great Deluge: Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast; and Dr. Raquel Rivera Pinderhughes, an authority on green collar jobs. The 2008 International Honors Institute will take place June 16-21, at San Francisco State University in San Francisco, California. The registration fee will be $875.00 per person.
