2009 New Century Scholars Announced
Fifty outstanding community college students have been named 2009 New
Century Scholars. The students scoring highest in the All-USA
Community College Academic Team competition in their respective
states and Guam are chosen New Century Scholars, and will receive scholarships
of $2,000 each. The New Century Scholars and the 2009 All-USA Community
College Academic First Team members will be honored at the American Association
of Community Colleges Convention in Phoenix, Arizona.
