Executive Director Appoints Kentucky Interim Regional Coordinator

Margo Hamm, Phi Theta Kappa chapter advisor and library science faculty member at Maysville Community College in Maysville, Kentucky, has been appointed Interim Coordinator for the Kentucky Region by Society Executive Director Rod A. Risley. Hamm’s appointment followed a review of nominations submitted by advisors and college presidents in the Kentucky Region. She will formally assume the leadership position during the Kentucky Regional Convention in Lexington in March. She will replace Jefferson Community College advisor Cliff Niemeier, who has served as Regional Coordinator for eight years. Hamm has served as a Phi Theta Kappa chapter advisor since 1995. She was selected a 1999 Faculty Scholar and served as a Seminar Leader for the 1999 Honors Institute. She is a past recipient of the Society’s Paragon Award for New Advisors and has been named an Outstanding Advisor in the Kentucky Region. Contact Hamm at or 606.759.7141, ext. 125.
