Information Strategies Bring Gold to New York Chapter
Phi Theta Kappa members at Columbia-Green Community College in New York
have claimed their second consecutive Pinnacle
Gold Award in the Society's Pinnacle
Scholarship Award Program, which rewards chapters for enhancing
their membership acceptance. Advisor Peter Ambrose said the chapter uses
effective communication to ensure that all prospective members receive
information about the Society and the new member orientation. In addition
to letters of invitation, chapter members post information in a central
location used to promote campus events. The $100 Pinnacle Gold Award will
probably be used by the chapter's scholarship/loan program that assists
students in buying textbooks and other educational materials. Enroll
your chapter in the 2006 Pinnacle Scholarship Award Program and
be sure that all eligible students on your campus completely understand
the benefits of membership in Phi Theta Kappa.
