Former International Officer Joins Honolulu Media
Zahid Arab, who served as Phi Theta Kappa's 2004-05 International Vice President - Division IV, recently joined the television news team of KHNL, the NBC news affiliate in Honolulu, Hawaii. Arab, who was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa at Mesa Community College in Arizona, also served as Arizona Regional President. Since joining the Honolulu news team he has covered stories ranging from the Hawaii Democratic Convention to the state's tourism concerns. Arab is a graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, and was previously an award-winning reporter in Iowa.
