Illinois Chapter Participates in Great American Cleanup

Phi Theta Kappa members at Black Hawk College, Quad-Cities Campus in Illinois recently joined other community volunteers in cleaning up a city area and a bike path along the Mississippi River. Members worked eight hours with their local Keep Rock Island Beautiful affiliate, collecting garbage and litter as part of their Great American Cleanup participation. The Great American Cleanup is sponsored annually by Keep America Beautiful, Phi Theta Kappa's partner in the International Service Program, Operation Green: Improving Our Communities.
