Executive Director Appoints Interim Florida Regional Coordinator Connie LaMarca-Frankel, Phi Theta Kappa advisor at Pasco-Hernando Community College in Florida, has been appointed Interim Regional Coordinator for Florida by the Society’s Executive Director Rod Risley. LaMarca-Frankel replaces longtime Florida Coordinator Allen Hamlin, who has resigned. LaMarca-Frankel, who is serving a one-year appointment on the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Committee, coordinates her college’s honors program and also teaches Humanities and Theatre. She is a certified instructor for the Phi Theta Kappa Leadership Development Studies course. LaMarca-Frankel has served as an Honors Institute Seminar Leader and has received the Giles Distinguished Advisor Award. She has served as a chapter advisor for 12 years, and her chapter has consistently achieved Five-Star Status.
