Enter Nota Bene Literary Competition by December 1
Manuscript submissions for the 2007 issue of Nota Bene, the Society's literary honors anthology, should be received at Phi Theta Kappa Headquarters by December 1. Submissions of poetry, essays, research papers, short stories and dramas by Phi Theta Kappa members are accepted for consideration. A downloadable submission form, which includes a statement that the submitted manuscript is the author's own work, is available on the Nota Bene website. The best overall Nota Bene submission will receive the $1,000 Citation Scholarship, and the four runners-up will receive Reynolds Scholarships of $500 each. Nota Bene is published annually and distributed to all community college libraries, to promote excellence in writing among community college students.
