Guistwhite Scholarship Applications for 2001 Now Available

Applications for Guistwhite Scholarships for 2001 are now available on the Phi Theta Kappa web site and Fax on Demand. Ten Guistwhite Scholarships of $5,000 each and 10 Finalists Awards of $1,000 each are presented to members annually. Selection is based on academic achievement, participation in Phi Theta Kappa programs and service to the college and community. Members enrolled in The Phi Theta Kappa Network may download an application at schol/guistwhite/. Applications may also be obtained by calling Phi Theta Kappa's Fax-on-Demand, 601.984.3548 and requesting Document # 9001. To receive an application by mail, send requests to scholarship.programs@ptk.org or telephone 1.800.946.9995, ext. 566. Include your Social Security number, your mailing address, and your telephone number with your request. Applications for the Guistwhite Scholarships that will be awarded in 2001 must be received at Phi Theta Kappa Headquarters by December 1, 2000. All Phi Theta Kappa members nominated for the All-USA Academic Team may automatically apply for Guistwhite Scholarships by completing one additional form in the All-USA Academic Team application packet. Guistwhite Scholars for 2001 will be recognized during the 83rd International Convention in Denver.
