Chapter Sets Fall Induction to Enhance Acceptance
The Phi Theta Kappa chapter at Rainy River Community College in Minnesota
knows how to attract eligible students to New Member Orientations. Advisor
Sue Olson said the chapter's recruiting strategies include serving popcorn
and apple juice in college's fireside room, where the Phi Theta Kappa Good as Gold DVD
plays continuously. Current members distribute the Membership
Benefits Brochures and give their personal testimonies as to
the benefits of membership. The chapter is planning a fall induction and
hopes their efforts will be rewarded with a Pinnacle
Platinum Award and a 2006 International
Convention Registration. Learn more about the Pinnacle
Scholarship Award Program, which recognizes chapters and regions
for enhancing membership acceptance, and check your chapter or region's
Pinnacle Progress.
