New Pinnacle Award Includes Convention Registration

A new level of recognition in the Pinnacle Scholarship Award Program is being offered this fall to encourage chapters to review and enhance their new member acceptance campaigns and orientations for eligible students. Chapters that increase the number of new members inducted and reported between September 1 and December 31, 2005, by 20 percent over the number of new members inducted and reported during the same period in 2004 will receive the Pinnacle Platinum Award. Pinnacle Platinum Award-winning chapters will receive one complimentary Convention Registration for the 2006 International Convention in Seattle, Washington, and a Pinnacle Platinum Award Certificate to be presented at their Region's 2006 Awards Ceremony. Furthermore, a chapter that did not induct and report new members during the fall 2004 term will be eligible for the Pinnacle Platinum Award if they induct and report ten or more members between September 1 and December 31, 2005. The number of new members each chapter will need to report in order to receive the Pinnacle Platinum Award will be posted soon on the Phi Theta Kappa website.
