Kansas Chapter Uses Commmunication to Earn Pinnacle Gold

The Phi Theta Kappa chapter at Brown Mackie College in Kansas has earned their second consecutive Pinnacle Scholarship Gold Award. Chapter advisor Paul Illian said communication is the key, especially since Phi Theta Kappa's presence on the campus is relatively new. Prospective members learn the benefits of Phi Theta Kappa membership in many ways, Illian said. College President Richard Thome explains the Society's history and purpose to all new students during an orientation course. Chapter meetings are open to non-members wishing to learn more about Phi Theta Kappa. The chapter has its own bulletin board to promote the Society and to provide local contact information. Phi Theta Kappa is also acknowledged as a sponsor of the All-USA Academic Team. Finally, the chapter provides information on Phi Theta Kappa's designated transfer scholarships. Enroll your chapter in the Pinnacle Scholarship Award Program and earn recognition and rewards for enhancing your membership acceptance.
