Center for Excellence Staff Members Honored for Service
Twelve Center for Excellence staff members were honored recently for their
years of service to Phi Theta Kappa, and another staff member was named a
Chapter Honorary Member.
"Our Phi Theta Kappa Headquarters
staff is truly outstanding," Executive Director Rod Risley said. "Every
day they go the extra mile to ensure that the needs of our constituencies
are met. Every day their focus is to provide the best possible services.
Every day they are planning new ways to enhance our programs and provide
new benefits and opportunities for academic achievement, career development
and personal growth."
"Today we are pleased to present service
pins to those celebrating their 15th, 10th, fifth and third years with Phi
Theta Kappa," Risley said.
Honored for 15 years of service to
Phi Theta Kappa were Mike Watson, Associate Director; and West Williamson,
Director of Membership Services.
Receiving 10-year service
pins were Susan Booth, Executive Assistant to the Associate Director;
and Bill Luckett, Director of Information Systems.
Recognized
for five years with Phi Theta Kappa were Faye Christian, Regional Officer
Coordinator; Denise Halbach, Development Assistant; Jason Quick, Graphic
Design/Printing Specialist; Cory Shields, Software Engineer; and Kimberly
Wooten, Advisor Services Coordinator.
Celebrating three
years were Lea Ann Bethany, User Support and Training Specialist; Brandi
McNeil, Director of Chapter Programs; and Leslie Miller, Membership Services
Specialist.
Lucy Molinaro, Phi Theta Kappa's Web Editor, was
named an Honorary Member of the Society's chapter at Holmes Community College,
Ridgeland Campus. Chapter president Lee Balch, member Pattye Dunlap and
advisor Betty Sue Adams conducted the honorary induction.
