Phi Theta Kappa Announces New Staff Appointments
JACKSON, MS - New staff appointments have been announced by Phi Theta Kappa
Executive Director Rod A. Risley.
Betsy Dowdle has accepted
the position of Marketing and Sales Coordinator in the Recognition Services
Department. Dowdle earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing and a Master
of Business Administration degree from Mississippi State University.
Joshua Friedel has joined Phi Theta Kappa's Center for Excellence
staff as Marketing and Communication Project Manager. He most recently
worked as a Brand Manager for the Godwin Group Advertising Agency. Friedel
received a Bachelor of Science in speech communication from Millersville
University in Pennsylvania.
John McGee has been named Creative
Director. He was previously employed as Creative Development Manager
for Cellular South in Ridgeland, Mississippi. McGee earned a Bachelor
of Arts degree in art from Mississippi State University.
Phi
Theta Kappa International Honor Society, headquartered in Jackson, is
the largest honor society in American higher education with 1,250 chapters
on two-year and community college campuses in all 50 of the United States,
Canada, Germany, the Republic of Palau, the Republic of the Marshall Islands,
the Federated States of Micronesia, the British Virgin Islands, the United
Arab Emirates and U.S. territorial possessions. More than two million
students have been inducted since its founding in 1918, with approximately
100,000 students inducted annually.
