Above and Beyond Award

Phi Theta Kappa Headquarters staff members were recognized for outstanding leadership, dedication and service in recent ceremonies at the Center for Excellence, which also celebrated Society achievements in 2011.

“Roads Scholar” Dr. Rod Risley has logged more than 100,000 travel miles in 2011 as an advocate for college completion. Dr. Risley’s speaking engagements have ranged from presentations to community college audiences to keynote addresses delivered to the nation’s leaders in higher education.

The Rocky Mountain-Cascade Region is conducting a Campus Blitz to raise awareness about Phi Theta Kappa and encourage all students to commit to complete their degrees.  The regional officers intend to visit all campuses within the three-state region by the end of 2011.  
 

To make their Pledge to Complete College available to all students, members of the Alpha Pi Pi Chapter at Community College of Aurora in Colorado, created an online pledge.
