Success Story: Shela Hidalgo

This year I was a keynote speaker at the Community College National Center for Community Engagement and named a CCNCCE Top 20 National Civic Engagement Leader. My project, "Hope for Our Future," which involves teaching about safe sex and unplanned pregnancies, began as our chapter’s Honors in Action project. In my speech I talked about the mentorship I received and what I have been able to accomplish as a Phi Theta Kappa member.
