Michigan Chapter Against Domestic Violence
The Alpha Tau
Alpha Chapter at Montcalm Community College in Michigan
hosted the Internationally known Vagina Monologues on their campus
and raised $3800 for RAVE (Relief Against Violent Encounters.) In addition
to the Vagina Monologues, they hosted "Color of Fear: Sexism" with 150 guests
in attendance. Alpha Tau Alpha also has planned a special presentation
about ending violence against women, with a large flag display on campus
in April. Way to go, Alpha Tau Alpha!
Monroeville Chapter
S.O.A.R.s to a Green Community
Members of the Phi Upsilon Chapter
of at Alabama Southern Community College in Alabama
participated in the S.O.A.R. campaign affiliated with the City of Monroeville's
litter awareness and litter pick up. Thirteen members picked up a dozen
bags of litter in three different locations in the city. They picked up approximately
a dozen bags of litter around the community. Good job, Phi Upsilon!
