The Beta Lambda Delta Chapter at Jefferson State Community College-Shelby Campus in Birmingham, Alabama, is Phi Theta Kappa's Most Distinguished Chapter for 2008! The Most Distinguished Chapter was announced at the conclusion of the Hallmark Awards Gala. First Finalist was the Kappa Alpha Chapter from Holmes Community College in Goodman, Mississippi. Second Finalist was the Eta Nu Chapter at St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg, Florida. Third Finalist was the Beta Theta Kappa Chapter from Butte College in Oroville, California. Fourth Finalist was the Pi Omega Chapter at Danville Area Community College in Danville, Illinois. Fifth Finalist went to the Alpha Zeta Iota Chapter at Northwest Shoals Community College in Phil Campbell, Alabama. Congratulations to all of the 2008 Distinguished Chapters!
