Pennsylvania Chapter Gets Crafty With Operation Green
The
Beta Iota Rho Chapter at Luzerne County Community College
in Pennsylvania took part in a recent craft festival on their campus,
helping children plant live plants in pots they decorated themselves.
The pots were sold for one dollar a piece with the potting soil, seeds and
decorations included. The event raised money for the chapter and encouraged
the creativity of the children involved while letting them take home a plant
that will help them beautify their area. Way to go, Beta Iota Rho!
Florida
Chapter Takes Project Graduation to the Regional Level
The
Eta Nu Chapter at St. Petersburg Community College in Florida
used their Regional Convention to promote Project Graduation. The chapter
collected books and canned goods for Project Graduation while hosting
the convention. The event which spanned three days in November resulted
in 309 canned goods and 157 books collected. Good for you, Eta Nu!
