Chapter Reaches Out to Middle Schools
The Alpha Chi Tau
Chapter at Wallace State Community College in Alabama
put together a middle school mathematics tournament for local schools.
The event included over 30 schools in the area and a total of 800 students.
The event was a fundraiser to help needy families in the community and raised
over $1,000 that went to the families in need over the Christmas Holidays.

California Chapter Hosts Congressman
At College
The Beta Lambda Chi Chapter at Barstow
College in California recently hosted Representative Joe
Baca. Representative Baca, who serves California's 43rd district, spoke
to over 350 people including elementary, middle, and high school students
on the importance of education in the community. The Beta Lambda Chi Chapter
worked with the Congressman's office to set up the event, and worked with
the school to record the lecture which will be posted on the college's website
for future download. Great work Beta Lambda Chi!
