The Alpha Psi Mu Chapter at Pennsylvania Institute of Technology in Pennsylvania recently raised funds for a variety of organizations through several Bake Sales. Members promoted the fundraiser by e-mail, posting flyers and posters on campus and word of mouth. Members decorated tables with tablecloths, decorations, novelty signs and chairs. The chapter raised $800! Good work, Alpha Psi Mu!

The Alpha Chi Tau Chapter at Wallace State Community College - Hanceville in Alabama collected canned goods and children's books at their graduation in support of Project Graduation. A week prior to graduation chapter members placed collection bins in various buildings on campus and distributed posters and flyers on campus. Chapter members also set up tables to distribute information and used large banners to promote the project during the graduation rehearsal. Over 1000 canned food items and 125 children's books were collected and donations were given to Cullman Caring for Kids, a division of United Way of Cullman County. Way to go, Alpha Chi Tau!

The Beta Delta Beta Chapter at Dekalb Technical College in Georgia recently hosted a Wipe Out Wireless Waste fundraising raffle during their annual spring fling to promote environmentally safe ways to discard wireless waste. The chapter teamed up with their Student Government Association to promote the raffle by sending emails and posting flyers on campus encouraging individuals to bring old wireless products. Chapter members also contacted various local businesses such as Applebee's to donate prizes. Sprint, Nextel and ReCellular supplied pre-paid postage labels to mail the wireless items. Over 100 people were informed and several wireless items were collected along with money for the fundraiser. Good job, Beta Delta Beta!
