Honors Program Guides are now on their way to Phi Theta Kappa's chapter leaders.
The new Guides reflect the Phi Theta Kappa Experience, the integration
of the Hallmarks of Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Fellowship through
activities reflecting the 2008-2010 Honors Study Topic, The Paradox
of Affluence: Choices, Challenges, and Consequences. A new feature
of the Guide is the Honors in Action section accompanying each of the topic
issues, suggesting related activities that implement two or more Hallmarks.
The Guides are being sent to all chapter advisors and chapter presidents.
(Special
note: Chapters needing an Honors Program Guide to satisfy Level 1 of the
Five Star Chapter Development Program may report their Level 1 requirements
at any time after receiving the Guide.)
